Data Protection – Employees

For those of you who are employed by us

About your personal information as an employee of Claiton AB

The personal information you provide to Claiton is stored in order for Claiton to fulfill the agreement as an employer. But the information is also needed to enable you to fulfill your part of the contract as an employee. Your personal data will be used, for example, to pay out salaries, give you access to our systems, and log in to others. They will be saved on the sites you access, and what you do on Claiton’s sites will be logged so we can see historically who did what.
More private personal information, such as development calls, possible sick leave and other things your employer needs, is kept secretly by the CEO. These data are deleted on an ongoing basis when they are no longer necessary.
Your social security number is used for identification purposes only.

The workplace is camera-monitored when there is no authorized person here. This is to ensure that we have adequate protection of the premises and to be able to prevent and investigate any unauthorized infringements. Feel free to contact the Data Protection Officer or CEO for more information.

Who has access to your information?

Your personal information is sent to the accounting firm that handles the salaries and, where applicable, to the pension company that manages the occupational pension.

We have taken appropriate technical, organizational and administrative security measures to protect the information we have against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, clearance, alteration, and destruction.
Your personal information is stored at least during your entire employment and is then continuously tracked. Payroll records are saved in accordance with the Accounting Act and data on employment time are saved for life.

Rights

You have the right to access your information. Partly if you want to know what information we have about you, if you want to get any information corrected, handed out or deleted, or limit how the information is used. As long as this does not conflict with other legal requirements (eg how long we have to save them) we will fulfill it.
Contact the Data Protection Officer and we will help you as soon as possible. You will receive the information that the CEO stores directly from the CEO.
